Fits Like a Glove

When I started my search for the perfect gown I did as every bride, I looked online, through bridal magazines and tried on various designs at bridal salons. Yet, there wasn't a dress that I really fell in love with. My mother-in-law wanted me to have a custom gown made. It seemed like a great idea, but I knew that it would take weeks of fittings and trials. Indeed it was laborious...but not for me.

Marsha my wonderful dress-maker and now friend spent many hours and weeks putting together my exquisite gown. Now that I can think back to our wedding day, which was just a couple of months ago, I cannot imagine buying a dress from a bridal store.

Aside from the perfect fit and gorgeous and unique design, there is something private and special in that experience. With every trial, the dress took on more beauty and the anticipation of the wedding day grew more and more.

I was lucky to have an expert mother-in-law direct me to the perfect lace for the dress. I picked out a gorgeous French Alençon lace from Haberman Fabrics. What can I say, the dress turned out perfectly.
